On Saturday United Sports USA staff came back to the Excelsior Stadium to hold the summer match for clients and new applicants who are looking to leave to United States in 2015 or 2016. The guest team Hamilton Academical Inverclyde FC was a challenging opposition that have not given a moment to relax and won the match 2-1.
We were glad to see our clients Scott Robson, Alex White and Jamie Lunn who are leaving within the next month to continue their football career at Bryant & Stratton College, Carson-Newman and Lander University respectively. All three players were in a good shape and ready to play the collegiate football. Alex White will be playing for Carson-Newman. The university’s soccer team were runners up in NCAA Division II National Championship. Scott Robson was awarded the scholarship at Bryant & Stratton College that is one of the biggest junior colleges in USA based in New York. Jamie Lunn is ex-Falkirk Youth player will be playing for Lander University in Georgia.
USU team also benefited from clients Nick Fox, Matt Jonsen and Josh Chapman who made their way to Airdrie from Midlands. Nick Fox scored the only USU goal in the mach.
