Professional Soccer career: University of Portland graduate Megan Rapinoe

Professional Soccer career is a dream for many young players. A lot of our clients explore the option of the full time training and tough competition in American Collegiate Sports system as a great preparation to move into professional sports.

A brief interview with U.S.A. and University of Portland forward Megan Rapinoe ahead of the U.S.’s first domestic friendly of 2006, against Sweden in Blaine, Minnesota. Rapinoe is also one of the only players in the University of Portland’s history to get 30 goals and 25 assists in a career. Her 88 point career (30 goals, 28 assists) is the 10th in the school’s history despite playing just 60 total games due to injuries.

Megan graduated in 2008 and opted to enter the Women’s Professional Soccer draft. If you would like to play college soccer and study in the USA find out what coaches want and fill in an application on-line.
