English Girls Open Championship 2014 - United Sports USA
English Girls Open Championship 2014

This week I am in attendance at the English Girls Open Championship at The Warwickshire Club. This event is full of the best girls in the country aged between 16 and 18. The standard of golf so far has been terrific and some of the shots I have seen have been top class.

We have 9 clients playing in this event which is fantastic to see. Two players coming into this on form are Eloise Healey and Emma Allen. Last week both girls had great finishes. Eloise finished 7th at the Scottish under 21’s and Emma came second in the South West Ladies.Emma is set to go to University of Missouri on a full scholarship. Both girls joined up to play their practice round here yesterday.

I also got the chance to catch up with client Kirsty Beckwith to complete her swing footage for coaches to see and what better place to have it done than here with some stunning views and holes.

With the first round under way the scores are starting to come in and by the looks of it the scoring is proving to be difficult with the greens getting firmer by the hour in the warm dry weather and an opposite wind from the previous two practice rounds seems to be catching a lot of the players out.

I would like to wish all of our clients and the rest of the competitors the best of luck for the remainder of the tournament.
